Enjoy the Blyde River Canyon from the water!

The Blyde River Canyon is home to a wide variety of wildlife such as various fish species, antelopes, hippos, crocodiles and many bird species such as the African Fish Eagle, African Finfoot and many more.

It is possible to sail with a boat on the Blyde River at the Blyde Dam. During this impressive boat trip you will sail through the canyon and see the amazing Blyde River Canyon from another side.

Tip: After the boat trip, it is definitely worth taking a look at the Blyde Dam, where the Blyde River is spectacularly dammed. During the boat trip you can already see the wall from the water, but by car and a short walk, you can even get to the reservoir wall.
