CALA LA PASTA
If it is Italian food that you are after, then Cala la Pasta is where you need to eat. It is situated in the Kamogelo Tourist Centre with a nice outside deck for alfresco dining. Cala la Pasta is the real Italian restaurant in the Lowveld offering homemade Pasta’s and homemade pizza. All food is prepared “a la Minute” by the Italian chef and owner. Also available are a meat, chicken, seafood and vegetarian menu. The restaurant is situated in a tropical garden and has a play area for the kids. Located opposite the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, Sleepers Restaurant and Bar can be found in the old station building at Hoedspruit Station. The building has been authentically renovated, while maintaining the station feel and atmosphere of a bygone era. While the trains rumble by, relax at the Pufﬁng Billy bar with something cool and refreshing before treating yourself to a good selection of South African cuisine. The menu also offers more general fare, ranging from tasty pizzas to perfectly grilled steaks and chips. The GAP Brewhouse is situated at the entrance to Safari Junction and Raptors View Wildlife Estate (R527). Local café, nice for watching sports.
A nice and cosy restaurant and pub, situated 5 km outside the town of Hoedspruit. Offers good food, beers and has a great bush setting.
THREE BRIDGES RESTAURANT
Three Bridges – Hoedspruit
The Indian chicken curry is a bestseller, as is the interesting variety of pizzas and pastas, but the trio of lamb chops with mint sauce and veggies should not be overlooked either – perfectly cooked and good value for money. The Three Bridges Restaurant is situated at The Outpost, approximately 20 km’s from Hoedspruit along the R40 towards Phalaborwa and overlooks the Olifants River.
MANOR HOUSE at KHAYA NDLOVU
The Manor House is a more upmarket restaurant and offers great food. In our opinion one of the best restaurants in town. A luxury and elegant dining place with a great view. The staff, the chef, the food – all fantastic.

A family fastfood restaurant and take away with great breakfasts, wholesome lunches and ﬁlling dinners all at affordable prices. Wimpy is situated at the front of Kamogelo Tourism Centre off main road of Hoedspruit Town.
SILVER WINGS SPUR
Family steakhouse situated in the Pick n Pay Centre at the entrance to the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate on the R40. Since 1967 Spur has grown across the country and abroad—providing customers with a warm, relaxed dining experience in a comfortable, family friendly environment. As the “Ofﬁcial Restaurant of the South African Family”, Spur aims to consistently deliver excellent quality and value to all customers. Situated at the back of Kamogelo Tourist Centre this is a great place to grab a pub lunch and have a few drinks. Kalimambo is also known for its Indian cuisine. Having a Chef originating from Kerala, Kalimambo offers great Indian curries and Chinese cuisine.
A rustic bush pub that serves light meals and pizza, very much a local “watering hole”, found at the end of the Eastgate Airport Road. Approximately 25 km’s from Hoedspruit at the gate to the Timbavati. It overlooks the Klaserie River and you are likely to enjoy your drink under the huge Jackalberry tree with sights of Hippo, Elephant or Buffalo. Don’t go hungry, as it might take some time before the pizza oven is ﬁred-up.

These two popular South African take-a-ways are located in the Total Service Station at the four way crossing near the Spar Shopping Centre. Steers has great ﬂame grilled burgers, steak rolls and ribs. Debonairs specializes in pizzas and subs.
ANNE’S COTTON CLUB CAFE
