And if that was not enough, if you are lucky, when it rains, a temporary watering hole appears in full view of the villa – the resident family of warthogs simply cannot resist the cooling mud! A wide variety of other animals and birdlife regularly visit the villa including vervet monkeys, mongoose, giraffe, wildebeest, waterbuck and nyala to name a few. You may even spot the resident Leopard tortoise!

Stepping into Villa Intaba, invites you to enjoy the warm colours of the interior that is evident throughout the living space and kitchen. You can expect state of the art appliances from a gas top stove, oven, double door fridge and a coffee machine for your convenience. With a living space that boasts a flat screen tv and comfortable lounge set. The two bedrooms are styled perfectly and paired with ensuite bathrooms providing double sinks, mirrors and our favourite, a bathtub that your afternoons could be soaked away in.

Enjoy the view of the distant mountains whilst relaxing on a sun lounger by your private pool. Or watch the animals wander close by from the comfort of the shade of the large, covered patio. In the evening, stroll down a path through your own private woodland to the river deck to experience the breath-taking view of the sand river and majestic Mariepskop mountain. Here you can enjoy the sounds and stunning sunsets of Africa whilst drinking a cool, romantic sundowner.

All accommodations of Homes of Africa are located on Zandspruit Bush & Aero Estate (Hoedspruit, Limpopo), an area of 1000 hectares of pristine and beautiful South African bush where only guests and residents of Zandspruit Estate have access. The beauty of this estate is the animals that call it home, there are harmless wild animals, including zebras and giraffes which make for a wonderful afternoon walk through the estate and all to enjoy without leaving the estate.

Within 5 minutes you are welcomed to the friendly village of Hoedspruit with several fantastic restaurants, supermarkets, and shops. Yes :-) We have a minimum booking period of 7 nights. After 7 nights you are free to stay as long as you want. So you can also stay 8,9,10,11 etc nights. Click under the price table on: View the prices per night tab.

Checking in and out can be done from the following times:
  • Check-in: from 2 p.m.
  • Check out: no later than 10. am

We have chosen to calculate 20% of the total amount as a down payment. The deposit must be credited to the account of Homes of Africa within 7 days after the booking. The remainder must be credited to the account no later than 4 weeks prior to arrival. You will receive all necessary payment details from us in the confirmation email after booking. You can make the payment through bank transfer or iDeal. It is not possible to pay with Credit Card.
