The moment you set foot in the door, you are welcomed by the warm African shades and the welcoming aroma, testimony to the personal touch which is evident in every detail of this lovely home.

The villa is fully equipped with everything you may require during your stay. Careful attention has been paid to comfort in each room, each with its own colour scheme, the bathroom and kitchen, blending into a harmonious whole. A personal favourite is the reading office of which the walls are lined with a beautiful array of books for you to enjoy while lounging on the private deck area or soaking in the Victorian style bathtub that looks out over the wilderness.

The bedrooms are located on separate sides of the villa, each with its own bathroom to provide private space for guests. The main bedroom has an outdoor shower where you can immerse yourself in an invigorating shower under a big Marula tree that stands tall over the house.

The living space of Villa Kanniedood has an open plan setting that allows for fun-filled cooking together, a glass of wine while watching a favourite program, or keeping your toes warm at the inside closed wood fireplace. This space spills out onto the outdoor deck area with a beautiful 8-seater table and lounge suite, perfect for sundowners or to enjoy a morning with coffee and rusks.

The braai area is at the end of the terrace and overlooks the pool, ideal for a lazy day spent with friends and family. A built-in braai is also available on the deck for the occasional day of moody Lowveld weather. This deck area may be enclosed by large glass aluminium framed windows if preferred.

The pool is partially covered by a beautiful wooden awning, providing shade for those warm summer days. An extension to the pool terrace is an acacia tree which provides a relaxed and peaceful nook for a bit of reading or just taking in the beautiful surroundings. This is also the perfect spot for afternoon tea with the sounds of the trickling fountain and the bird symphony in the trees.

A backup battery has recently been installed to avoid South African power outages.

There are harmless wild animals on Zandspruit Estate, so it is possible that you come face to face with a zebra or giraffe during a walking safari. So you can go on a game drive in your own backyard! In addition, it often happens that the animals come to take a look at the houses or even take a sip from the swimming pool.

Within 10 minutes you are in the pleasant village of Hoedspruit with several fantastic restaurants, supermarkets and shops. In the vicinity you can enjoy game drives, the Panorama route and the Kruger Park.
