You are greeted as you enter the villa by the beautifully laid out living room that is spacious and has a lovely sofa where you can enjoy your favourite programme on the flatscreen tv, there is also a DVD player to dive into a movie. DVDs are provided. When the weather is cooler, you can also enjoy the sounds of a crackling fire with the inside fireplace.
Villa Ubuntu is equipped with a back-up battery and solar panels, which gives the comfort during load shedding (power failure). the lighting stays on and your fridge keeps working, so you can still enjoy a cold drink and the WiFi at any time.
For those who enjoy cooking, Villa Ubuntu is fitted with a magnificent kitchen that is fully equipped. A Nespresso machine, a 5-burner stove, built-in oven, built-in microwave, American fridge with ice machine and cold-water tap, washing machine, dryer and dishwasher are available, all to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
When the excitement of the day is over, retreat to one of the three bedrooms, all that provide blackout curtains, each styled in their unique taste, all of which provide a bathroom en suite with toilet and indoor and outdoor showers. The master bedroom also has a bath. Villa Ubuntu also has a guest toilet.
The exterior of the villa provides a very spacious covered patio with a large lounge set and large dining table where you can eat, talk, and enjoy a traditional south African braai with the built-in braai area. The beautiful large swimming pool with a Martini seating area is heated and there are sun loungers on the surrounding deck for a wonderful moment of relaxation.
In addition, the Villa provides a private sun terrace with chairs on the riverbed, where you can enjoy the view of the Drakensberg at sunset with a drink and watch the animals pass by in the riverbed in the morning when it gets light with a cup of tea. There is also a traditional African boma for those late evenings under the African sky. Located on pristine bushveld in the estate, it is this location that means that many animals, which Zandspruit Estate has a rich presence of, such as a nyala, impala, warthog, waterbuck, and monkey regularly come for a drink of water.
