Villa Uitkyk was built in 2017 and has a unique design. The modern architectural style, characterized by the steel roof and the use of a lot of glass, creates a subtle amalgamation of the inside and outside. The villa was recently equipped with a full solar and battery back-up system allowing the villa to operate independently from the grid and thus circumvents any inconveniences caused by the regularly occurring power interruptions in South Africa. Villa Uitkyk is located in a quiet part of Zandspruit Estate, allowing you to optimally experience the peace and quiet of the African bush.

This very spacious house (280m²) is completely detached and from the covered terrace you have a spectacular view of the Drakensberg and the colorful sunsets. The many high windows ensure a lot of light in the house and partly because the large glass folding doors can be fully opened, you will find yourself in this villa in the middle of African nature. Villa Uitkyk can therefore rightfully be called a special bush villa.

Villa Uitkyk is tastefully decorated: modern, with an African twist. On the spacious terrace is a comfortable lounge set as well as a dining table that seats eight people. Sun beds on the edge of the heated swimming pool offer sun worshipers a wonderful retreat. There is also an outdoor braai (barbecue) and in the adjacent boma you can enjoy the sunset and the starry sky by the campfire.

The villa has a very spacious, light living room with a fully equipped open kitchen. The cooking enthusiast can fully get started here! In the living room there is a luxury fireplace for any cool winter evenings and if it is too cold outside then a spacious dining table also offers space for breakfast or dinner. In the villa you will also find various games, books, magazines, travel, bird and wildlife guides and DVDs, often with “Africa” ​​as the theme and / or decor.

In Villa Uitkyk there are three beautiful master suites (spread over two separate wings), each with its own modern ensuite bathroom and private outdoor shower. Naturally, all bedrooms have air conditioning, a fan and sliding and screen doors to the outside deck. The three bathrooms each have a double sink, walk-in shower and separate toilet. Two bathrooms also have a bathtub with views of the bush.

The construction of this villa with its two separate wings and the associated privacy, also makes the house very suitable for several couples or families.

Yes :-) We have a minimum booking period of 7 nights. After 7 nights you are free to stay as long as you want. So you can also stay 8,9,10,11 etc nights. Click under the price table on: View the prices per night tab.

Checking in and out can be done from the following times:
  • Check-in: from 2 p.m.
  • Check out: no later than 10. am

We have chosen to calculate 20% of the total amount as a down payment. The deposit must be credited to the account of Homes of Africa within 7 days after the booking. The remainder must be credited to the account no later than 4 weeks prior to arrival. You will receive all necessary payment details from us in the confirmation email after booking. You can make the payment through bank transfer or iDeal. It is not possible to pay with Credit Card.
